Photojournalism Essay

Students with caps and gowns anxiously walk through the isles to their seats. As they patiently wait, they think of their futures and how they're going to spend their summers. To many, graduation is the final bridge to cross before they can relax in the summer time. While many students dressed formally under their gowns, there where a few that were beach ready under their gowns.

The students of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut looked graduation ready in their cardinal red caps and gowns. 

Many family members attended to see their loved ones go through this milestone on the graduate's life.

After All the graduates were called, they all ran to be congratulated by their families and take pictures.

 
And they graduates had to say heartfelt goodbyes to they friends that they'd become to close to throughout their college years.

After the goodbyes comes the realization that college is over. One becomes torn between feeling sad that it's over and ecstatic that it happened the way it did. It's the final goodbye to the school itself.

Once one lets go, it's time to go home, or maybe the beach, just away from that college for a while.
